New generation of small size shredders with ESC® drive
New generation of small size Vecoplan`s single shaft shredders VAZ 60, VAZ 80, VAZ 110, VAZ 110 XL with patented drive ESC® (electric slippery control). Without gear , asynchronous drive controlled by frequency converter works together with high performance belt drive. ESC® drive provides lower energy consumption, high drive dynamics thanks to very fast reversing and re-start. Available power : 11 -37 kW. Capacity depending on amterial and final size: to 2 to/hr.
VTH 8
The VTH 8 series are stationary machines provided with a horizontal feed unit for sawmills and carpenter’s shops for handling wood waste thickness up to 80 mm. In order to grant an optimal shredding process these are available with two different rotor systems:
the first rotor system works with a fast rotating chipping knife for shredding short or long lengths of waste wood, free from tramp material, from the timber sizing and wood processing industry in order to produce a defined homogeneous and continuous wood chip.
the second rotor system works with a slow-turning rotor that is designed with a ribbed profile rotor with cutting crowns 40x40x20 mm (U-rotor). Furthermore, a toothed counter knife is used with this version. Depending on kind of chipper rotor is diameter 300 to 500 mm and can be equipped with 12 to 30 pcs cutting tools This solution is used for the shredding of waste wood and timber by-products from the wood processing industry.

VTH 20
Drum chippers VTH 20 are stationary machines provided with a horizontal feed unit for sawmills, carpenter’s shops, pellets and briquettes factories, biomass power plants and thermal-power plants etc. for processing wood thickness up to 200 mm. To ensure an optimal chipping process they are equipped with a fast rotating chipping knife rotor. Depending on local condition the rotor can have 2 to 6 pcs knives in order to produce a defined homogeneous and continuous wood chip. It`s very reliable solution for chipping veneer, too. Length of chips 5 mm-50 mm.

VTH 45, 60 , 85
The Series 45, 60 and 85 biomass chippers stand out due to their robust, reliable and very powerful design. The chippers are designed as stationary machines and are provided with a short horizontal feed unit. They special design cause that need less space than common chippers with the same capacity. They have only 4 in feed rollers and operate with a clamping plate rotor. The solid steel rotor is diameter 1300 mm (VTH60) or 1800 mm (VTH85). Depending on request the rotor can have 2 or 3 chipping knives. Length of chips: 20-30 mm.Those chippers are primarily used in the production of large volumes of energy wood chips for thermal conversion in high-output biomass power plants. Additionally, they are suitable for the production of high-quality wood chips for use in the chipboard and paper industries.
